ANDEAN FIRE CEREMONY
Sunday, April 28, 7pm-9pm
Please R.S.V.P. below
At a private residence in Westwood - address will be sent upon r.s.v.p.
Fire ceremonies are at the core of many shamanic traditions as a way to gather energies of Community and Nature, supporting us all to cleanse, redirect, and transform.
This event offers an opportunity to experience a traditional fire ceremony as practiced in the Peruvian High Andes. A guided inner exploration will open a window to reflect upon what attachments and patterns are ready to be released, and what healthy energies, feelings, and dreams desire to be called in.
Each participant will be invited to imbue their intentions symbolically into wooden sticks. These will be brought to the fire. The elders taught that when wood is burned, the energy held within is released.
Stepping into the fire circle, one will step into a ritual space—a space of non-ordinary consciousness–and be informed by the alchemical energy of the fire.
WHAT TO BRING:
A rattle, shaker, or drum if you have one.
Two (2) wooden sticks (dry).
To be used for different purposes.
Wool yarn or cotton thread, ribbon, etc. (nothing that has plastic in it)
Fresh flowers, herbs
Wear comfortable clothing
