Yale Houston Women in the Workplace Salon

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 12th, 2017 – Women In the Workplace Salon Event
2:30pm – 5pm at the Bellaire home of Debbie Taylor ’89 (address provided to RSVPs).

Following the traditions of the Enlightenment Salons of the 18th & 19th Centuries, we invite you to come socialize with women alumni and join in a robust discussion on timely issues facing women in the workplace today. Some topics we will explore include:

§  Characteristics of females vs. males in power positions

§  Office cultures and its impact on women

§  Are Women getting in their own way?

§  Women bullying other women

§  The role of Power

We will provide facilitators to keep time and provide questions to focus the discussion. To prepare, please read from the reading selection below.
