Pitching for Writers: As writers, we are experts at communication… except maybe when it comes to pitching our own projects. Luckily, there are ways to make it easier and even kinda fun. Join Laura Brennan (Morse ’88) for a hands-on presentation filled with tips and tricks on how to talk about yourself and your work. We’ll cover how to put together a logline and an elevator pitch, using them not just to talk about your book, but also as the basis for your written query or marketing material.
Laura’s eclectic writing career spans theater, television, film, web series, short stories, picture books, and video games. She has won awards for journalism, television writing, and fiction. Find out more at PitchingPerfectly.com
