After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with a specialty in Computer Science from Yale, she worked at IBM as a software developer before getting her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.   She has spent most of her career at high-tech companies, where she has guided strategy and execution to bring advanced technologies to customers worldwide, including companies of all sizes, health care providers, governments, and educational institutions.  She delights in drawing insights from research and data to inspire and guide transformations in public and private sectors as well as in the kitchen.  She started cooking at an early age by helping her parents in their home kitchen. For her, cooking has been a joy born out of a nurturing instinct and a love for creating art guided by science.  Besides caring for her elderly parents, she is an avid investor in humanitarian causes; she also serves as a volunteer to give back to local communities and her alma maters in various capacities, including serving on the YaleWomen Council.  Her hobbies include exploring and discovering new things, creative outlets such as writing and photography, and gardening.  Most of all, she enjoys raising her teenage son with her husband in northern California.
