2:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Jones Hall, 615 Louisiana St, Houston, TX 77002.

YaleWomen of Houston have organized a fabulous event for Yale alums at Jones Hall! You (and your family) are invited to join us for an afternoon filled with music, including an incredible flute solo performance by fellow Yale alum and Principal Flutist of the Houston Symphony, Aralee Dorough! Acclaimed conductor Fabien Gabel returns with a program of French and American classics, including Leonard Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, John Corigliano’s Conjurer for Percussionist, Strings and Brass, Jacques Ibert’s Ports of Call, and Louis Aubert’s Habanera. The program closes with Maurice Ravel’s Suite No. 2 from Daphnis and Chloé, featuring a breathtaking flute solo performed by Aralee Dorough, Principal Flutist of the Houston Symphony and a former graduate student at the Yale School of Music.  Following the performance, we will join Aralee backstage for a private reception in the Rehearsal Room.
