YaleWomen Connecticur + 6th Annual Yale Day of Service

“Why is your community different because Yalies live there?”

Join us in this family-friendly Day of Service project!  We will be working on a community garden that provides food for our neighbors though Operation Hope, a local Food Pantry. Projects will include building a fence, and planting vegetables and a "town" tree in partnerships with the Town of Fairfield.  Please bring a light lunch, and feel free to bring your own garden gloves and/or any garden tools with you. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Inclement weather plan: we will be making food in the Kitchen inside the Church for Operation Hope (feeds 50 families and will include a main meal, a salad and a desert). First Church Congregational will provide the ingredients.

Parking is available in the lot behind First Church. The entrance is off Beach Road.
