Shakespeare's Folktale Sources
Please join us for our official kickoff, an exciting afternoon event featuring Yale alumna Dr. Charlotte Artese, BA '95, Associate Professor of English at Agnes Scott College. Dr. Artese will be speaking about folktale origins of the works of William Shakespeare.
Dr. Artese is interested in Shakespeare’s borrowings and lendings, how he adapted his sources and how later artists have adapted his works. There will be time for discussion and questions, as well as the opportunity to socialize with other Atlanta area YaleWomen.
The event will take place at a member's private home; address will be provided upon RSVP.
Note: When you RSVP, there will be a drop-down menu to select the number of guests you are bringing. If you are not bringing guests, please select "0" and submit your RSVP.
