Yale Prof. Paul Freedman (History Department) will talk about Women, Men, and Food, an excerpt from his upcoming book: American Cuisine and How It Got This Way. During this one-hour, free webinar, Prof. Freedman will discuss the perceptions of men and women's food preferences in the 20th century. He will also discuss how new products such as Jell-O and magazines such as Good Housekeeping and Gourmet alternately reinforced and upended prevailing stereotypes around food and gender.
This webinar will be moderated by Wendy Maldonado D’Amico ’93, Yale Alumni Association (YAA) Board of Governors.
