The YWB Transitions Group is a potluck dinner designed to connect women for friendship, support or community activities at any stage of life. Whether you are facing changes in your family, at work or in the wider world, or if you are enjoying a peaceful plateau, participation in a group of lively Yale women can enrich your life. Gathering in a private home, our group meets every month or so and is open to women from any Yale program. We have a simple format designed to help us get acquainted: brief introductions based on our interests, (gently) facilitated small-group conversations, and time for announcements and requests for ideas or help. Casual social time is scheduled at the beginning and end of the evening. Newcomers are warmly welcomed.
The mission of YaleWomen is Connecting Women, Igniting Ideas, Transforming the World. Our Transitions Group brings us together to help build a vibrant community of Boston Yale women.
Our meetings are mostly first Thursdays. The upcoming schedule is November 7, December 5, January 9, February 6, March 5, April 2, and May 7.
