Laura Teller

Name: Laura Teller

Yale Affiliation: ’77

Where you live: Lawrenceville, NJ (Princeton area)

What you do: Independent marketing and marketing strategy consultant, with a specialty in serving companies in the artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and advanced analytics sector

Your family: Married to Doug Duda; two children: Gabriel (14) and Stella (12).

Other Yale volunteer work: I serve as the assistant director of the Alumni Schools Committee in the Princeton area (I help manage the applicant interviewing process and applicant/accepted student/matriculant outreach for the area). I am also a member of the Board of Governors for the Yale Broadcasting Company (WYBC).

Something we might not know about you: I graduated from Yale with a burning desire to be a singer-songwriter, and spent 5 years performing in the New York/Philadelphia area before I moved to "Plan B" and got an MBA from Harvard Business School. I still write and gig around, and have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to perform at almost all of my Yale reunions. Other than that, I might be the oldest mother among us: I had my first child at 48 and we adopted #2 when I was 52... keeps me young, I hope!
