Name: Jessica Demmo
Yale affiliation: BA ‘96
Where you live: Stamford, Connecticut
What you do: A bond trader at Salomon Smith in my former life, I have been a full time mother, volunteer and philanthropist for the last 18 years. I am a trustee and chair the governance committee on the King School Board of Trustees, help bake and deliver cakes for ThankGoodnessForCakes, a nonprofit run by my son, support several Native American organizations, including the Association of Native Americans at King, and am active in Stamford politics.
Your family: I have 3 sons, Carter, Chase and Connor, and 2 stepsons, Tim and Greg. My husband, Bob is also a Yalie (’93), as are my brother (’93) and sister (’98), who both live nearby. My parents live primarily in Mexico, but live with me when they are in the states. Ever cook for 9 on a regular basis??
Other Yale volunteer work: I am a Yale alumni interviewer and enjoy meeting prospective students at interviews and local college fairs.
Something we might not know about you: I might not be able to tell you what I ate for breakfast, but I can recite the movie Fletch, remember every phone number I have ever had, and never need to look at my credit card to order something online (dangerous!)
