Name: Emily Friedrichs
Yale affiliation: B.A. '07
Where you live: Buenos Aires, Argentina
What you do: My professional training is in bilingual primary education, but I've been working for the past few years in SAAS technology, and most recently in marketing communications.
Your family: My husband and I have two cats, one of whom snores.
Other Yale volunteer work: I have served for several years as a volunteer for the Alumni Schools Committee and the Yale Club in Argentina.
Something we might not know about you: I owe my immigration to Argentina to my time at Yale; a classmate who was here learning Spanish provided the impetus for a 65-hour bus ride between Buenos Aires and Cuzco, which led to a grant to research cooperatives and falling in love with Buenos Aires.
