This new virtual series from YaleWomen is designed to foster conversation and engagement that fuel action around advancing gender, racial and ethnic equity. From politics to the arts, from tech start-ups to finance and science, we’ll explore how Yale women are addressing equity challenges and creating positive and enduring change. As a launch to our series, we’ll tackle the challenge of political leadership and share how Yale women are changing the game – for good.
To kick off the series,
POLITICAL LEADERSHIP AND WHY IT COUNTS
Thursday, August 5 @12EST/9AM PT. Accelerating gender parity in political office, while mobilizing women to lead change, is the job of our first guest host, Tiffany Gardner, CEO of ReflectUS. Following a distinguished career in international law and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Gardner currently leads a national, nonpartisan coalition working to increase the number of women in office and achieve equal representation across ideological, racial, and geographic spectrums in the United States. Join us for a conversation about the unique contribution women are making now – and can make in the future - through political leadership at all levels. Come explore just a few of the practices we are using to change the world around us.
