A Tuesday morning breakfast series from the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute focused on Yale Women Innovators that is designed to foster discussion, idea sharing, best practices, business fundamentals, networking and team-building opportunities among Yale women students, alumni, faculty and staff interested in entrepreneurship at any level.
Come enjoy a light breakfast, hot coffee and a lot of illuminating discussion from fellow Yale women who have made inroads in starting companies, or who are just setting foot on the path. Select dates will feature guest speakers to lead casual discussion and Q&As.
June 14 - Julie Vance, Pitching & Communications Expert. This session with Julie Vance from Executive Voice will provide intensive training on successful communication and pitching. Julie is a Communication Consultant at the Executive Voice who has coached many Yale startups as well as an instructor at the Yale Divinity School.
June 21 - Sarah Biggerstaff, SOM Lecturer in the Practice of Leadership, discussing "How to Give and Receive Feedback."
June 28 - Alena Gribskov, Cofounder of CodeSail, discusses "Developing an Effective Pitching Style." **Optional 1/2 hour discussion of Women Innovator Group mission/goals to follow!**
