YaleWomen DC: Archivist Talk

With the recent re-naming of Calhoun College, interest in the life and work of Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper is high!  Hopper earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Yale in 1934 and continued in a distinguished career in public service, the military and early computer science. Many of her papers and artifacts are housed at the Smithsonian. Yale graduate Peggy Kidwell will share some of the museum's collection and also speak about the life of Dr. Hopper.  Casual lunch to follow, attendees to cover costs of their meal.
