Ivy Onyeador '11 is a doctoral student in social psychology at UCLA. She is broadly interested in diversity in organizations -- the promise, process, and pitfalls of diversifying contexts like media, universities, and workplaces. Her projects examine how individuals perceive others based on social identities like race and gender and how these perceptions affect outcomes like intergroup attitudes, policy preferences, and hiring. She'll discuss her research and host a broader conversation about race, gender, and current events. Co-hosted with YBAA-LA. Sunday, October 25 from 2-4 in the Hancock Park area. Location provided with RSVP.
